Friends and those who are visiting the site,

The single most important part of this or any other society is the family unit. History and time dictate that nations who understand the importance and strength of family tend to thrive.  However, in the United States the institution of family is becoming an endangered species.

My friends, statistics are consistently showing that the foundation of marriage, that commitment one-person makes to another, is not being taken as seriously as in days gone by. The sacred covenant that binds two people together for a lifetime is becoming an exercise which can easily be reversed should irreconcilable differences arise.  This mentality regarding marriage and the legislation that is supporting it has contributed to breakdown of the family structure.  In turn, broken families have lead to weaker communities throughout every corner of this nation.

It is my commitment to reeducate and rededicate our society to honoring the sacred covenant made between man and wife known as marriage. I personally understand that relationships between adults can be very complex and there are times when no option is left but to separate. However, re-building the family structure is the first and most crucial step in taking back the control of our households, neighborhoods, and this country.  My commitment to fatherhood, motherhood and family is to restore these primary relationships to what they are intended to be.

I mentioned that building the family structure is the first step. However, a family consists of more than the people who live in the same domicile. A marriage is a beautiful blending of two families that unite to create a larger and stronger unit. The two adults that unite as well as their offspring need to be involved with all aspects of the family structure to learn about their lineage and more about themselves.

The time for change is truly now. Personally, I am working to end the destruction of the family unit our nation is experiencing by trying to change legislation. A prime example is legislation, which provides funding incentives for agencies and organizations who remove one or both parents from the household. Other legislation deals directly with fatherhood and equal rights for males who may be separated or divorced. The latter aids in restoring respect to the concept of  “Fatherhood” and promotes giving children an opportunity to interact with both sides of their biological families.

One can easily see that the best interest of children and family are synonymous with each other.  When there is a problem within a household, it is imperative that assistance be given on a cultural, spiritual and psychological basis to correct the underlying issues. This approach to resolving issues serves only to enhance the family structure and not destroy it.  Please help strengthen this nation.
